Transforming Lives with the Power of the Scriptures--Romans 12:2
The Song of Solomon: God's Sex Education~~for ages 11 to 99~~God inspired the captivating Song of Solomon to bless the lives of every man and woman regardless of their age or upbringing by teaching them how to find true love, enjoy a lifelong sexual partner, and build a successful marriage. Lovemaking originated within the mind of God along with beautiful sunsets and undersea wonders, and this beautiful true story demonstrates his love for his people. God reveals secrets about lovemaking that science discovered only within the last 30 years, but society still remains largely ignornant of them.

Marriage: A Taste of HeavenVol. I: God's People Appreciate MarriageThe Marriage: A Taste of Heaven audio album reveals how to find the answers to marriage problems, how to balance masculinity with femininity, how to lay the foundation for a happy marriage (a verse-by-verse study of the Song of Solomon), and how to find a blessing instead of a curse in subjection. It corresponds with the book Marriage: A Taste of Heaven, Vol. I: God's People Appreciate Marriage. Teachers often use these audio classes, along with the book, to teach their classes. "I'm falling in love all over again!" is the most common statement listeners make. This album uses over 400 major scriptural points, with examples from everyday life, to beautifully show the power of the Bible for solving marriage problems and transforming lives.

Challenges in MarriageWhat to Do When Sin Inhibits LoveMany of the dark secrets found in marriages are openly dealt with as the series teaches the natural course of sin from just a beginning slip to where it completely enslaves and controls the person and inhibits love. The series teaches what to do about sin in the home and offers help for couples drowning in problems, such as bitterness, adultery, financial neglect, judging motives, anger, drunkenness, fighting, spouse abuse, unreasonable perfectionism, codependence, etc.

Safe SexWhat They Don't Tell YouSince public schools leave God out of sex education, this CD approaches the subject from the viewpoint of a person who just wants to have fun without consideration of God's laws. Documented medical and psychological evidence shows beyond all doubt that the promiscuous person does indeed "sin against his own body" (I Cor. 6:18) and that "safe sex" is really physically and psychologically harmful.

The Secret of the Woman of Great PriceThe Key to Facing the Problems of LifeProverbs 31:10-31 Patsy taught this lesson after facing a lot of discouragement as a preacher's wife when other people's problems started to overwhelmed them. This forced her to totally rethink her attitude towards the normal problems of a young family plus those that come to Christians who actively work with others. She kept a framed calligraphy of the Woman of Great Price in her bedroom which she read several times each week. Finally, she recognized the wisdom of the woman of Proverbs for solving problems. Both men and women express appreciation for this material that helps them look at facing the problems of life with a new perspective.

The Power of ReverenceSpeaking to a Man's HeartEphesians 5:33 This lesson looks at the mechanics of "reverence" by following the list of similar words in The Amplified Bible. Lots of true stories bring the wisdom of God's command to life. It is the audio version of a chapter in Vol. II: God's People Make the Best Lovers. Another chapter in Vol. II discusses the mechanics of the man's half of Eph. 5:33 where he is commanded to love his wife as himself. When both the husband and wife obey this verse, it fuels a wonderful perpetual-motion machine of love that continually grows stronger. This creates sparks of renewed emotional delight and commitment and generates more power than ever to keep the machine of happiness running.

A Woman's Crowning GloryBecause of the AngelsI Corinthians 11:3-16 When students kept asking Patsy about I Corinthians 11, she asked her husband why God had made it so we couldn't understand it. He replied, "We can understand it if we know what the words mean." Patsy then did an exhaustive word study and didn't assume that she knew what simple words meant. Among other words, she discovered that two different Greek words were used for hair with totally different meanings. She then worked to outline the verses following Paul's logic. To her delight, she discovered that Paul built his discussion upon one argument after another to reveal a woman's crowning glory. Now it is one of her favorite sections of scripture. NOTE: This lesson was not recorded on professional equipment and contains background noise. Please use a player with tone adjustments to take advantage of the teaching.

How to Fight Fair and Face AngerDeveloping Skills to Solve Problems
Often anything goes when problems arise from name calling and ridicule to hurling wild accusations. Some fights escalate into screaming and destroying property. When such actions begin, often one partner retreats from the argument as the subject becomes taboo and problems are ignored. Fortunately, one person can totally change the course of arguments--even when the other person doesn't want to fight fair. God gives everyone, including timid wives, bullied husbands, and adult children, the power and right to teach family and friends how to fight fair so real communication can take place. This CD teaches the rules for fighting fair and gives lots of real life examples to show how it's done.

Dawson vs. Brians DebateOn the Existence of God and the Inspiration of the Bible2 Night Debate--4 Hours In the fall of 1972, Dr. Paul Brians, a humanities professor and faculty sponsor for the League for the Promotion of Militant Atheism at Washington State University, issued a challenge to the "Jesus People" (whose motto was "One Way") to debate the "evidences of their faith." Brians' motto was "No Way." The Jesus People could not debate this, so the challenge was going unanswered by any believers. A small group of Christians requested that Samuel G. Dawson accept the challenge, which he did. A physics and mathematics graduate from Texas Tech, he did research in celestial mechanics and intercontinental missile guidance in the aerospace industry before deciding to preach the gospel of Christ. Since atheists do not accept the Bible's statement that God exists, Sam laid aside his Bible on the first night. He proved the existence of God through indisputable scientific facts. Then on the second night, he presented Bible facts that weren't known by scientists until several thousand years later to prove that the Bible couldn't possibly be of human origin.

The Book of JobHow to Properly Use Suffering10 Sermons This sermon series explores how God allowed Satan to tempt Job with the deaths of his children, the destruction of his property, the intense pain boils, and the loss of his wife's sympathy. Job's props were completely knocked out from under him, and he didn't know what was going on behind the scenes between God and Satan. Many people today struggle with maintaining their faith when tragedy strikes. Some win that battle; others turn their back on God. Job felt abandoned by God. He faced thoughtless judgments and callous remarks by his friends. In the beginning, Job did not sin. But his dire circumstances and insensitive friends so wore him down that he finally began blaming God for his misery. These sermons not only build our own faith, they also teach us how to treat those who are suffering.

Jesus, Christians, and Codependence2 SermonsWhile codependence is a modern word, the Bible has always taught against the concept. Codependence among Christians greatly magnifies all controversies and problems between Christians and within congregations. Indeed, codependence is an extremely practical Bible subject that affects every Christian in every relationship: matrimonial, parental, sibling, friendship, neighbor, fellow-Christians, fellow-workers, and the political realm. Our society badly needs an understanding of codependence--especially among the Lord's people, who can often be some of the most codependent people. These are the two sermons that exposed codependent behavior among Christians and in churches.

Value of the Old TestamentFor New Testament Christians3 Sermons Many claiming to be New Testament Christians are woefully weak in their knowledge of the Old Testament. Thus, they are severely limited in their knowledge of the New Testament itself, for the New Testament is based upon the Old. Jesus and his apostles quoted or alluded to the Old Testament 300 times. Ignorance of the Old Testament leads to mistaken assumptions which result in doctrinal misinterpretations in the New. In addition, New Testament Christians were prophesied about in the Old Testament. Perhaps worst of all, ignorance of the Old Testament violates plain commands in the New Testament that instruct Christians to be serious students of the Old.

How to Study the BibleA Practical Guide for Independent Bible Study19 Sermons God has always commanded his people to be diligent students of his word. Yet Old Covenant Israel neglected that command. And because of their ignorance, they crucified the very Messiah they hoped for. While God, likewise, commands Christians to be disciples, students, precious few of us are diligent students. Too many of us are dependent upon preachers in an unhealthy manner to do all of our Bible study and teaching of others. This study is designed to aid anyone interested in being an independent faithful disciple of God's word. Samuel G. Dawson brings the Bible to life as he makes it relevant for today. Lessons progress from choosing a dependable translation to rules for interpretation to dealing with difficulties in the Bible.

Marriage, Divorce & RemarriageThe Uniform Teaching of Moses, Jesus & Paul18 Sermons As this sermon series exposes the sin of treacherous divorce in both the Old and New Testaments, it magnifies God's character. The author begins with a plea for good behavior and independent study of this controversial topic in a local church. Then thorough word studies and careful logic bring to light the uniform teaching of Moses, Jesus, and Paul on marriage, divorce, and remarriage. The last sermon deals frankly with the increasing clamor for breaks in fellowship among Christians concerning this subject. While Christians say they believe in the independence of local churches, a handful of younger, well-meaning preachers is about to foment another denominational split among churches.

The Teaching of JesusFrom Mount Sinai to Gehenna:A Faithful Rabbi Urgently Warns Rebellious Israel 19 Sermons Because we tend to take Jesus' teaching out of the context of the people Jesus preached to, it is very common to misapply His teaching in our day. Thus, this work begins with a study of Covenant concepts in the Bible, the Reign of God prior to the coming of Christ, and the sophisticated expectations God has always had of non-covenant people. After demonstrating that forgiveness of sins did exist under the Mosaic Law, the author then develops the preaching of John the Baptist and Jesus as an urgent attempt to get the Jewish nation to turn back to God through faithful obedience to the Mosaic Law in order to avoid imminent national destruction.
